What is BikeN (BKN)?

BIKEN is a Web3 bike-to-earn lifestyle app with Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements including metaverse integration focused on fitness.

BikeN is built on the Binance blockchain. It combines aspects of a play-to-earn game with a fitness app that expands on the category coined “move-to-earn.”

The app incorporates Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements with access to the metaverse. People can exercise, earn, compete, and interact while they bike in indoor and outdoor modes.

The project aims to promote a healthy and fit lifestyle for people while providing access to a fun and interactive virtual world. BikeN plans to transform the indoor and outdoor biking experience. Those that do indoor and outdoor cycling can earn while they exercise or compete either on their own or with friends and bike enthusiasts from around the world.

Users are equipped with NFT bikes and they can pedal through streets, roads, cross country or multiple terrains to earn BKN (BikeN), which can be used to level up and mint new bikes.

Participating players can choose to lease or sell their NFT bikes on the in-app marketplace. The user's BKN earnings are stored in the in-app wallet, which has a built-in swap function similar to other popular move-to-earn projects.

Token Burn

When a certain number of crypto tokens are said to be burnt, it means they have been permanently pulled out of circulation. This is done by simply transferring those tokens to a 'dead wallet'.
More than half of the profit we get in tokens for bike upgrades and repairs will be burned frequently. This will contribute to make the BKN and BKV tokens deflationary.

How To Play

You can mint, choose a route, and track your cycling activity with the BikeN mobile app. The app will launch on both iOS and Android app stores.

Workout Modes

Players can choose an “Indoor” or “Outdoor” mode.

In the Outdoor Mode, players need to select a Terrain Mode and Bike outdoors respectively to the terrain chosen.

With Indoor Mode, players can experience the Metaverse, benefit from chat features to connect with friends and family, and enjoy the creative imagery available through Virtual Reality backgrounds.

Please note that you can get the rewards for a maximum of 20 miles per day. After 20 miles, you can still ride but there will be no rewards.

Indoor mode

You can cycle with your friends in the Metaverse and Earn BKN & BKV.
There is only one mode available while you are cycling indoors - Cross Country mode. Your ability to stay on course and complete checkpoints plays a part in earning BKN & BKV.

• Cross Country Mode Cross Country Mode is available while playing in the Metaverse. It is achievable by using the BIKEN Kit that includes the VR Headsets and a Bluetooth Cycling Speed & Cadence Sensor. Players in the Metaverse are encouraged to complete checkpoints to earn higher amounts of BKV and travel long distances in the Metaverse to earn distance points for leaderboard ranking. Multiple selections of creative imagery and backgrounds are available through BIKEN’s Metaverse.

  Outdoor mode

Cycle with family, friends and loved ones in the real world to earn BKN & BKV.
There are Streets, Roads, Cross Country or Multiple Terrains modes available while you bike outdoor. Your ability to navigate through different modes plays a part in BKN & BKV earnings.

• Street Mode
  • Having the ability to navigate through streets and traffic will result in better BKN earnings while riding your bike. Stopping and going will not affect your earnings as you will be measured in distance.
• Road Mode
  • Less stopping and going will lead to faster accumulation of BKN and get you to acquire more distance points for leaderboard ranking.
    
    • Cross Country Mode
      • Long distance and cross country cycling is defined by the terrain on which it is performed. Players are encouraged to stay on highways or bike routes to achieve higher results of earning BKN and distance points for leaderboard ranking.

• Multiple Terrains Mode

  • Also known as “rough riding” involves cycling over a variety of surfaces, topography and terrains. Focusing on freedom of travel and ability over varied surfaces, multiple terrain cycling will earn you higher amounts of BKN for distance traveled. Players will also be entered into a separate leaders board for distance traveled on multiple terrains.

  Bikes

  There are 5 bike types.

  1. Mountain Bike (Outdoor)
  2. Speed Bike (Outdoor)
  3. Universal Bike (Outdoor)
  4. Ant Bike (Indoor)
  5. Dog Bike (Indoor)

Our NFT marketplace will feature new bike NFTs. Users will be able to mint, upgrade, buy and sell their favorite bikes while managing their inventory.

Profitability, Repair & Upgrade Costs

Each bike and bike part can be upgraded to a maximum level of 100.
The maximum level that a bike part can be upgraded is the level that corresponds to the bike it belongs to.
For example, if the bike is at a level 10, the parts of that bike can also be upgraded to a level 10. This means that any bike with a level 10 cannot have level 11 or level 15 bike parts.
Players can earn BKN tokens beginning at a Level 30 Bike NFT. BKV tokens are only given to players that have under Level 30 Bike NFT's.

Minting New Bikes

Pick your favorite concept and mint your virtual bike.
Currently, there are 3 different types of real-world bikes (Mountain Bike, Speed Bike, and Universal Bike). Also, there are 2 different types of metaverse bikes (The Dog Bike and The Ant Bike). There will be a larger variety of bikes in the future.
The real-world bikes are for outdoor use and the metaverse bikes are for indoor use.

Renting Bikes

• Do you own several virtual bikes, but cannot ride them all at once? Lend your bikes and start earning passive income!
• Is it too expensive to purchase your own virtual bike? Rent a bike and earn an income without investing at all.
  You can only earn BKV tokens as rewards (not BKN) when you are renting the Bike NFTs.

Earnings

When a Bike is minted, the durability is predetermined by the quality of the Bike. As players navigate through different terrains, the quality of the Bike allows the players to earn more BKN and BKV per mile traveled. Here is a chart that shows minimum and maximum earnings of BKN and BKV using miles traveled on each mode and quality of Bike.
BikeN (BKN) and Bike Verse (BKV) tokens can be traded for USDT or BUSD using in-app wallet swap.

Bike Quality and Upgrades

The quality of the Bike also determines the durability and need for repair. The higher the quality, the more durable and less need to repair, resulting in optimal earning potential of BKN and BKV. Also the higher the Bike’s quality, the higher the repair cost.
There are 3 types of Bike Qualities.

A comfortable and agile bike should allow you to ride for hours on end. Upgrades to your BIKEN NFT include Seat, Gear, Frame, Handlebars, and Wheels.
