Fasttoken

Fasttoken (FTN) is the native cryptocurrency of the Bahamut blockchain, a public, EVM-compatible Layer 1 network that employs a distinctive Proof of Stake and Activity (PoSA) consensus mechanism. This PoSA model introduces an innovative factor—activity—into the validation process, rewarding developers who build popular smart contracts like BHRC20 tokens, DeFi protocols, NFTs, and more. Activity is tracked based on the gas used during interactions with a smart contract. The higher the activity, the greater the likelihood that contract validators will be chosen as block producers, earning more network rewards.

FTN is essential to Bahamut’s ecosystem, supporting native and liquid staking, block validation, and cross-chain operations. It is a key component of the Fastex ecosystem and finds utility across sectors including iGaming and DeFi platforms such as Ortak, Lolik, Mutuari, and YoHealth.
