MYX Finance

MYX is a non-custodial derivatives exchange designed to make perpetual trading as seamless as spot swaps. Built to reduce the capital costs of liquidity provision and eliminate network barriers for traders, the protocol offers an on-chain marketplace where any token with an existing AMM market can be traded through perpetual contracts.

At the heart of MYX is its Matching Pool Mechanism (MPM), a shared collateral pool supplied by liquidity providers. Instead of relying on fragmented maker books or constant-product curves, the system concentrates liquidity and rebalances exposures internally, ensuring that every matched trade remains fully collateralised. This design allows the pool to support open interest beyond the funds locked, while trading fees scale down to as low as one basis point per side when utilisation is high.

To streamline the user experience, MYX employs a two-layer account model that separates custody from execution. Users maintain full control of their assets in EOAs or smart wallets but delegate trading authority to a lightweight in-app key that signs orders automatically. Transactions feel instant as gas costs are handled by a relayer network and settled in the chosen currency. Extending this frictionless design, a chain-abstracted AA wallet recognises collateral across more than twenty blockchains, including Solana, allowing traders to open positions without bridging or swapping into a specific stablecoin.

The MYX token anchors the ecosystem, with holders able to stake for a share of net trading fees and participate in governance. Token distribution balances ecosystem incentives, contributor rewards, investor allocations, and community initiatives, while governance proposals—ranging from fee tiers to risk limits—are executed through on-chain smart contracts with a public timelock for transparency.

Currently live on Linea, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain, MYX already supports collateral from over twenty networks. The roadmap prioritises cross-margining between markets and full cross-chain portfolio margining, ensuring that gains in one position can offset requirements elsewhere, regardless of origin chain. Future development also focuses on automating market creation and extending chain abstraction to non-EVM ecosystems such as Solana.

By concentrating liquidity, abstracting away network friction, and enabling one-click trading with full user custody, MYX redefines access to advanced derivatives while preserving the openness and transparency of on-chain settlement.
