What Is Phantom Deluxe (PND)?

Phantom Deluxe (PND) is based on the popular "Binance Network" Internet meme and features. The open-source digital currency was created by Abhishek Thakur from India, Phantom Deluxe creators envisaged it as a fun, light-hearted cryptocurrency that would have greater appeal beyond the core Bitcoin audience, since it was based on a Phantom meme.

How Many Phantom Deluxe Token Are There in Circulation?

Phantom Deluxe launched its mainnet on June 20, 2022 with 5.5 Trillion tokens created at genesis. 5% of additional supply is issued each year to support the network as epoch rewards, of which 90% goes to validators (4.5% total) and 5% to the Deluxe treasury (0.5% total). 20% of transaction fees are paid out as rebates to contracts which interact with a transaction, while the remaining 50% are burned.

Who Are the Founders of Phantom Deluxe?

In 2022, a not-for-profit foundation was formed by members of the Deluxe team to provide support, advocacy, trademark protection and governance for the cryptocurrency project. However, the foundation was dissolved over time.

After several years of being inactive, the foundation was relaunched in 2025 with a “renewed focus on supporting the Deluxe Ecosystem, community and promoting the future of the phantom deluxe Blockchain.” In addition to some of the original core team, the project now has some seasoned industry players as part of its board of advisors.

According to the foundation’s website, members of the board will meet monthly to discuss issues relating to Phantom Deluxe.
