ZKWASM

ZKWASM is a blockchain infrastructure project that merges zero-knowledge proofs with WebAssembly to provide scalable, privacy-preserving, and high-performance computations on-chain. Open-sourced in 2023 as the first ZKWASM VM, the project has been backed by Binance Labs and OKX Ventures and has grown through years of research and community engagement. Its development has been highlighted by presentations at ZKProof Workshop 2022 in Israel and ZK Summit 9 and 12 in Lisbon, as well as practical demonstrations at ETHDenver 2024 and Taipei Blockchain Week 2024, focusing on Ethereum rollups and on-chain gaming. A 2024 IEEE paper further validates the technical advancements of ZKWASM.

Delphinus Lab, the core contributor to ZKWASM, is building a chain-agnostic rollup infrastructure that supports Rust SDK, Rollup-as-a-Service, and decentralized AI inference. The live ecosystem includes six active applications with over 60,000 daily users, showcasing its capability to empower developers to create decentralized applications across DeFi, gaming, identity, and more while bridging Web2 and Web3 in a seamless, privacy-focused environment.
