A quick run-down of the job We are looking for a mid-level Smart Contract Engineer with a focus on EVM networks to join our API Expansion Team. This team is responsible for expanding our footprint by integrating new chains/ecosystems, new bridges and new functionalities. You will be writing new and adapting existing smart contracts, making sure they are peer-reviewed and audited and eventually deployed to some or all of our supported chains. Since we support 60+ EVM networks (and counting), such many-chain deployments bring their very own challenges that you help us to solve and automate as much as possible by creating smart scripts and by constantly improving our internal processes. Your security-first mindset and strong attention to detail will contribute to keeping us safe at all times. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager of the API Expansion Team. Our tech stack: Solidity, Yul/Assembly, Foundry, Typescript, Bash đ Location This role requires you to be located in EMEA or APAC region. What you'll do Contribute to development and configuration of our 1200+ production smart contracts, ensuring security and optimal (gas) performance Collaborate with external auditors, resolve audit findings and file audit reports to ensure full audit traceability of our codebase Create and improve scripts (typescript and bash) that help us to get our work done most efficiently Deploy staging and production contracts to many chains simultaneously, ensuring contracts are verified Create, review and sign multisig proposals in production environment Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipeline on Github Review and respond to bug bounty submissions Write demo scripts that showcase how our contracts function and have to be interacted with Help our customer support team to analyze failing transactions and provide easy-to-digest explanations for our partners and clients Take an active role in our smart contract chapter (e.g. with knowledge sharing presentations) Bring your own ideas and help us to grow every single day What makes a good candidate At least 5 years of software development experience with a focus on Solidity (at least 3, ideally 5 years) and solid experience in TypeScript (at least 3 years) Proficiency in YUL/Assembly and experience deploying smart contracts to multiple EVM networks Meticulous and quality-driven, you ensure high-quality outputs in all aspects of your work Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction within a cross-cultural team and with external stakeholders Experience working with/for a major DeFi protocol, especially a bridge or cross-chain protocol is a plus Contributions to Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) or other public blockchain initiatives are a plus A degree in computer science or a related field is a plus Company culture Embracing the differences Embrace your own differences Respect and welcome the unique qualities of others See othersâ differences as an opportunity to grow Own it, do it Own tasks end-to-end Hold yourself to a high bar for execution Make bold decisions, and be accountable Understand your limitations and seek for help Fail forward Try - donât be afraid to fail Learn - donât make the same mistake twice Adapt - grow with the experience Have fun together Take the time to get to know and understand each other better Donât take yourself too seriously and keep it light-hearted Fun should be coming from a place of love and respect What youâll get Annual team offsites (Thailand in 2023 and Vietnam in 2024 were a blast, Marrakech in March 2025 was blast-ier; letâs see what happens in 2026!) 30 days of PTO Flexible remote days Flexible working hours Equity participation from day 1 Entitlement to work computer (choice of equipment) An annual 1,000⏠personal development budget once you have worked 6+ months (pro-rated the first year) A one-time 1,000⏠remote budget to use on coworking, office setup, etc. If you join us as an independent contractor, youâre only entitled to the first five benefits of this list.
