Junior Quant Trader

Job Description

What you'll be doing: Assist the senior traders in designing and developing quant trading strategies including market making algos that can deliver a high Sharpe ratio and returns Work closely with the rest of the trading team in the management of risks in a 24x7 market Monitor, maintain and optimize the automated trading systems as directed Help with maintaining relationships with other teams internally, counterparts and LPs etc Provide management with information on trading activity Provide market and trading insights to the rest of the trading team What we're looking for: Bachelor degree in any field 1-3 years experience in a quantitative trading capacity (banks and funds included) Interests and some familiarity with the crypto market would be advantageous Knowledge in Equities, Options, FX, Fixed Income, Futures preferred Previous experience dealing with high volume and volatile environment Detail oriented; Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work Good team player, strong communication skills Able to prioritize in a fast-moving, high pressure and ever-changing environment with a good sense of urgency What’s in it for you: Friendly and fun start-up work culture Convenient work location located in the heart of CBD area Generous annual leaves on top of national holidays Medical coverage including GP, Specialist, TCM, and more Self-care benefits and exciting fitness workshops/webinars Vibrant office with a well-stocked pantry Skills Communications Skills Cryptocurrency Team Collaboration
