Bedrock

Bedrock DAO is the governance layer of the Bedrock ecosystem, giving BR token holders direct influence over protocol decisions. Holders convert BR into veBR, a voting escrow token, by locking their BR tokens at a 1:1 ratio. The longer the lock period, the more voting power they gain.

veBR holders participate in governance by voting on proposals such as protocol parameters, liquidity incentives, and gauge allocations that decide how rewards flow across pools. To keep governance dynamic and prevent entrenched power, a seasonal reset system periodically returns all voting power to a base level, ensuring each season starts on fair ground for both new and existing participants.

At launch, the Bedrock team will retain administrative control to configure the DAO and oversee the transition. Over time, control shifts fully to veBR holders, allowing the DAO to autonomously manage upgrades, incentives, and the evolution of the Bedrock ecosystem.
