Natsukashii

Who I am is not relevant, however my story and my vision is.

To help understand how the vision of Natsukashii came to life, we need to travel 2 years back in time. In August 2020 a token named Shiba Inu was born, and what I can only describe as a moment of luck made me check it out. Fast-forward 8 months and what initially seemed like a laugh, would start to make some serious headlines in the crypto industry. The rest is history, my life was changed forever.

I often find myself thinking back on the early Shiba Inu days, what made it so successful? Was it the tweets by famous people, or was it just pure luck? Both may have been a big factor in its success, but what makes a project sustainable over time?

To be successful you first need a community, a community consisting of people working together for the greater good.

In short, without a community any project is destined to fail, no matter how good of a project you think you have. We see this time after time in DEFI nowadays, with projects dying after its initial dump. What is the cause of this, and how can we change it?

If you have been following the red line through the Medium so far, you should already have the answer: The community. The issue is indeed not simple, nor is it a one day-fix, however I believe with the proper guidance and commitment anything is possible. The word and name of the token comes from Japanese and means:

Natsukashii — nostalgic, reminiscent of good memories, missed, longed for, yearned after. (archaic) dear, beloved, cherished, sweet.

With Natsukashii this is the people I speak to, to the people who enjoy looking back at good times, to the people who once more want to commit themselves for the greater good, to the people who want to create something truly special.
The Inception

I have deployed a contract and locked the liquidity, the rest will be up for the community of Natsukashii to decide. There will be no official socials created by me, nor will there be any website created. I have provided a temporary logo for use, a logo the community is free to change at any given time, I give the community full power to come together and shape this story from the very start. My only means of communication will be through https://medium.com/@therealmeishu and https://twitter.com/therealmeishu. I will not interfere with decisions made by the community, though I will as time passes share more about my vision to help the community move into the next phases.

Tax — 6%

Marketing — 3%

The marketing tax is set aside for real marketing, to be used by both me and the community.

LP — 3%

LP is a big contributor to a project, the LP tax is here to ensure the project’s sustainability.

Development — 0%

The development tax will be set to 0% during the first phases. When the community is ready to explore ideas and utilities, this tax can be raised to fund the development. More on this later..

Furthermore, a 1% wallet will be allocated at launch, a wallet I am prepared to transfer into the hands of the community once ideas on how to use it has been developed.

Community tokens do not have to be zero taxed, on the contrary, if done correctly it can be used to ensure the project’s longevity.
