What is Starpower (STAR)?

Starpower is the largest decentralized energy protocol focused on tackling global energy volatility and shortages. By integrating renewable energy hardware directly into its network, the protocol enables distributed energy resources to operate as part of virtual power plants and demand response programs, building a more efficient and resilient energy system. The project has gained strong backing from Alliance DAO, Framework Ventures, and Solana Ventures, underlining deep institutional confidence in its vision.
In 2024, Starpower achieved key milestones, including the publication of a team research paper in Nature and the successful connection of more than one million energy devices, generating over $1 million in revenue. The founding team combines deep expertise in both Web3 and renewable energy. CEO Laser Ding previously served as chairman assistant at HashKey Group, while CTO Darcy Jia holds a PhD in Photovoltaic Engineering under the mentorship of Professor Martin Green, widely recognized as the “Father of Photovoltaics.” Together, they are positioning Starpower at the forefront of decentralized energy innovation.
