Senior Developer Relations Engineer
Fireblocks
The world of digital assets is accelerating in speed, magnitude, and complexity, opening the door to new ways for leveraging the blockchain. Fireblocks’ platform and network provide the simplest and most secure way for companies to work with digital assets and it trusted by some of the largest financial institutions, banks, globally-recognized brands, and Web3 companies in the world, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, Revolut, and thousands more. About The Team The Developer Experience (DX) group owns every touchpoint that turns Fireblocks into a world-class platform for builders. We steward the entire stack that wraps Fireblocks for developers: public APIs, client SDKs, documentation, sample apps, the developer portal, and all supporting tooling. Our mission is simple: eliminate friction and deliver a delightful, secure path from “hello world” to production at scale. You’ll join a compact, high-impact group inside the Platform unit, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, product, support, CSMs, and technical writers to ship features, refine standards, and engage our rapidly growing community of Web3 and fintech innovators. Who You Are You’re a builder at heart: part developer, part product thinker. You’ve shipped code, written docs that move metrics, and solved real user pain. You want ownership: to drive the roadmap, build tools, and craft content that developers actually use. You treat DevRel like product work: every tutorial, guide, and sample app is a feature to ship and improve. You're comfortable acting solo, but you think big and work cross-functionally to remove friction and scale impact. Above all, you care about outcomes: unblocked devs, faster onboarding, and clear signals that your work drives adoption. What You’ll Do Own our developer-facing content end to end. From roadmap to release. Manage documentation, tutorials, and sample code as living, version-controlled products: prioritize their backlog, ship high-quality updates, and track impact with the same KPIs we apply to production features. Author clear guides and runnable examples while partnering closely with our technical writing team to ensure every page is accurate, consistent, and user-centric. Build and maintain fully runnable demo apps. Ship reference projects in Node.js, Python, Go, or Java (complete with IaC, automated tests, and CI/CD) so customers can clone, deploy, and learn by doing. Be the voice of our developer customers. Run customer interviews, shadow integrations, and mine support tickets to uncover real-world pain points—then translate those insights into sharper docs, richer tutorials, and higher-impact sample code that erase friction. Design friction-free onboarding. Craft step-by-step guides that take developers from “API key issued” to their first signed transaction in minutes, complete with copy-pastable snippets, and screenshots. Publish deep-dive concept content. Demystify Fireblocks policies, EVM vs. UTXO models, Solana flows, security best practices, and more. You’ll turn complex ideas into digestible articles that shorten the learning curve. Create content for developer workshops & events. Develop slide decks, hands-on labs, and live-coding assets for webinars, hackathons, and conference sessions, partnering with DevRel to deliver memorable, high-value experiences. Seed and grow the Fireblocks developer community. Launch and moderate Discord/Stack Overflow channels, run live-coding office hours, showcase community projects, and turn satisfied users into peer-to-peer advocates. Instrument, measure, iterate. Wire up analytics to track engagement, search success, and GitHub stars, using data to drive continuous improvement and prove ROI. What You’ll Bring Proven full-stack skills. 5+ years writing production code across both front-end (React/TypeScript or comparable) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Go, or Java) stacks. You’re comfortable spinning up an app, an API, and its CI/CD pipeline from scratch. Blockchain fluency. Working knowledge of wallets, key-management models (EVM, UTXO, Solana, etc.), smart-contract flows, and the security considerations unique to digital-asset applications. Native-level English. You can translate intricate technical ideas into crisp, engaging prose without losing accuracy or nuance. AI-accelerated workflow. Hands-on experience using tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar LLMs to boost coding velocity, docs generation, and content QA; and a passion for experimenting with new AI capabilities. Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In order to do that, we strongly believe our workforce should be as diverse as our clients, and this is why we embrace diversity and inclusion in all its forms.
