The Trading Technology team is responsible for everything to do with the trading backend services such as the matching engine, market data gateways, internal and external APIs, and various other trading services. The team is located globally and responsibilities are split into sub-teams, working with various tech stacks. You’ll work in collaboration with our marketing team and alongside another experienced Community Manager, serving as the bridge between our core team and the UMA and Across Protocol communities. As a member of our marketing team, you’ll work to create a positive, responsive, and engaging environment for new and existing community members and users. What You’ll Be Doing Manage the functionality and moderation of our community platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram) to ensure inclusive, welcoming, and productive environments. Maintain a strong support presence to help users quickly and effectively navigate UMA and Across products. Organize and host engaging community events including quests, AMAs, and calls that deepen connections and drive growth. Lead and execute community growth campaigns across social media and partner ecosystems to raise brand awareness and member engagement. Experience with leading community-based moderators, or similar leadership roles. Deep understanding of DAO culture, governance processes, and DAO tooling. Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong resourcefulness and attention to detail. Ability to showcase your infectious positive energy, empathetic attitude, and kindness in your work. Familiarity with DeFi, interop solutions, oracles, prediction markets, and related blockchain technologies is a significant plus.
